The second Save The Children Christmas Ball was held at Gibbon Bridge Hotel on Saturday, November 24th 2018, and raised an amazing £8000.

The event attracted 140 persons from the local area and beyond!

Proprietor Janet Simpson and her team worked exceedingly hard to make the event even better than that held the previous year. The room looked stunning! Many generous local individuals and businesses had donated raffle and auction prizes, most of which are only available on such occasions.

A welcoming glass of bubbly was followed by an extremely tasty, well presented 3 course meal featuring local produce, acknowledgements to MGF & Suppliers, Tanners Wine Merchants, Udales Speciality Foods & Chris Neves.

The versatile DJ, Paul Guard, kept the party going and guests danced the night away!!

A great night was had by all!!

The Preston volunteer branch of Save the Children is most grateful to Gibbon Bridge and the attendees for making the evening such a success.
