£1,500 raised at centenary fashionshow/luncheon

Save the Children is celebrating 100 years of making a difference to the lives of the poorest children in more than 60 countries worldwide and here in the UK.

Last Wednesday Preston Branch of Save the Children held a Centenary Fashion Show and Lunch at the Wyrebank in Garstang.

The Wyrebank provided a lovely venue with a delicious lunch, so thanks go to the chef and staff for making it a special afternoon.

The charity raised £1500 and our thanks go to all our supporters for making this possible.

After the excellent lunch guests were treated to a fashion show featuring autumn and winter outfits by Barbara’s of Standish.

From cosy coats and knits to evening and special occasion wear, there was something to delight everyone.

It was a truly memorable afternoon, thanks again to everyone involved.
