Finally after 282 days and 2,786 miles, on 17 February Arlette & I reached our virtual destination of Al Hol in Syria.

To date our efforts have raised £1,020 for Save the Children’s projects which had suffered through expenses/restrictions imposed during the covid epidemic together with the UK Government’s draconian cuts to UK overseas aid for the foreseeable future. ( The estimated government cuts for 2021 alone was £4bn)
