Virtual coffee morning smashes £500 target

On 29th April we held our 1st Virtual Coffee Morning,  the total raised was a fantastic £775 exceeding our initial target by £270.

Thanks to our lovely loyal supporters and everyone who contributed on the day Preston Branch of Save the Children was able to contribute the generous amount of £775 to the charity’s Emergency Coronavirus Appeal . (Click here should you wish to enlarge to our total)

Save the Children works with half a million community health workers in 44 countries to deliver vital health services and aims to support them in recognising symptoms and preventing COVID-19. It also aims to train another 100,000 in the coming six months.

In addition it will work with local communities to deliver training and protective equipment so that prevention measures can be ramped up, and cases can be identified early, referred for treatment and where possible, isolated.

Your support helps to make all this possible so on behalf of all of us  at Preston branch of Save the Children a REALLY BIG and SINCERE THANK YOU.
