….. from the Gibbon Bridge Hotel and Restaurant featuring Barbara’s of Standish

On Wednesday, May 4th, Preston Save The Children Branch fundraising group held an Afternoon Tea and Fashion Show at Gibbon Bridge Hotel and Restaurant, Chipping with fashions courtesy of Barbara’s of Standish.

A video montage by & with thanks to Barbara’s of Standish

After a wet morning the sun came out, and after a delicious afternoon tea we were treated to an informal viewing of casual and formal fashions. The models walked round the tables and explained the clothes they were modelling. There were outfits to suit everyone, from beach wear to formal wear.

The afternoon was a delight!

The total raised for Save The Children was an amazing £1,200!
In addition a further £144 raised by the proprietor of Barbara’s of Standish from a sponsored walk undertaken during lockdown  was also presented to us swelling the total on the day to £1,344 for Save the Children

Our sincere thanks to Gibbon Bridge, Barbara’s of Standish and all the 100 ladies who bought tickets for the event making it yet another very special day for Save The Children

Below are a selection of images captured during the day
